Update on an eminent domain abuse

Latest on the the Norwood, OH case of eminent domain abuse.

"Three little houses," said Edna Hughes, of Hyde Park, at a nearby service station. "They look kind of strange there."

The three structures are the most visible reminders of a protracted, bitter battle over whether Norwood had the right to use eminent domain to seize homes and businesses so that commercial developers could demolish them and build an office-retail-condo project.

The three buildings are all that's left of a small neighborhood that had been bordered by Edwards, Edmondson and Interstate 71 and had become increasingly engulfed by commercial development.
