Everyone’s outsourcing? Not exactly.
This survey of more than 300 CEOs finds that, of those whose companies already outsource, 60 percent would consider offshore outsourcing.
But what are they actually doing?
Chart 6 shows that, no surprise, high-tech/telecom companies are most likely to go offshore. But even here only 25 percent currently use offshore outsourcing. The figure is about 5 percent for financial services companies and just about zero for healthcare companies.
