The “muni-loonies,” as Steve calls them, probably wouldn’t like this idea either. Cities are going through all sorts of business models to deliver Wi-Fi. Perhaps this one could be added to the mix: just agree to change your city’s name. Doing so got one Texas town free satellite TV:
